QUETTA, Aug 10: The condition of two Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation employees, who have been on hunger strike unto death for the last seven days, has deteriorated but the officers’ association and the workers’ unions vowed on Sunday to continue their struggle till the government accept their demands.

According to a statement issued here, the condition of Noor Bakhsh and Sarfaraz Ahmed Tahir became serious.

The PTCL officers association and staff unions allege that the National Accountability Bureau has implicated the employees in the corruption references relating to default by the consumers. They are demanding withdrawal of the cases.

They demand that the PTCL’s audit should be conducted by its own section concerned.
