Uch power plant

Published June 25, 2017

DERA Murad Jamali has been facing electricity loadshedding 12 to 14 hours a day for the last 10 years, although the Uch power plant is available in the city.

The prime minister inaugurated the second phase of the Uch power plant in April 2014 and assured the Dera Murad Jamali residents that the city would soon get electricity from the power plant. The citizens are, however, still waiting.

There have been several strikes and protests by the citizens for their rights, but all in vain. I demand of the prime minister to fulfil his promise.
