KARAK: Police here on Sunday claimed to have arrested seven gamblers and seized a big amount of stake money.

In a press release, they said that following a tip-off a police party of Yaqoob Shaheed police station raided the hujra of Shah Baraz Khan in Krushkay Kala and arrested seven alleged gamblers identified as Bilawar Khan, Sajid Ali, Shahid Riaz, Abdul Wadood, Mohammad Junaid, Shakeel Ahmad and Shah Baraz.

It said that the police also recovered Rs90,000 stake money from their possessions.

Police have registered FIRs against the arrested persons.
