Pakistan and India's fierce battle for the Champions Trophy title sparked a flood of memes, with cricket fans on both sides of the border capturing the essence of the competition in well-timed witty jokes.

Pakistan, who set up an unassailable 339-run target, thrashed India by 180 runs to raise the trophy at the end of the high-octane competition.
