Mansoor remains unbeaten

ISLAMABAD, Aug 6: Top ranked Mansoor Zaman scored his second successive victory in the Player’s Squash League in Peshawar on Wednesday as he defeated Arshad Iqbal Burki.

Mansoor, who had beaten Farrukh Zaman on Tuesday’s opening day, scored a 15-8, 15-9, 15-5 victory.

Farrukh Zaman was involved in a hard match against Khayal Muhammad but emerged a 11-15, 15-10, 15-11, 15-7 victor. Majid Khan was the other winner of the day, edging past Shahid Zaman 15-5, 15-10, 11-15, 13-15, 15-14.

Zubair Ali Khan had to retire in his match against Saeed Hassan, who won 5-15, 13-15.
