How do they expect to win by dropping players like Harris sohail and junaid khan & playing the ever hopeless Hafeez?

Wahab Riaz has the Accursed 'SIFARISH' from a future hell-dweller? I have been watching this eunuch Riaz for the past 4 years. Only in one match in 4 years, he he performed but stinks overall. Where was his performance as a bowler who does exceptionally well with offerring frequent 5wides & wides, not to mention his PATHETIC wicketless high runs to the opponents. He could not even perform in the banglawash warm up game. As goes the bat, he cannot even hold one. KICK HIM OUT FOREVER.

How can they announce the playing 11 one day before the game?

Junaid khan is more dangerous than Amir from my point of you.. he has skill and right agression.. but pak never used his pottential and wasted a good talented bowler..i am little relief..wahab and shadab with Amir are not a dangerous pack..hasan ali yet to see him how he bowls agains india but he is a nice blowler.. in battting S.Malik and babar azam to look out for .. i would have included harris sohail..he brings solidarity .. Cant believe Mickey Arthur has kept Hafeez in the team despite pathetic performances in view of todays high paced cricket. Something really odd that he kepts getting selected

Hafeez and Shahzad will bring the team down with their dots and Wahab will give about 80 runs in his 10 overs. This batting line up is good for 235-250 runs, not beyond that. Unless we bat with aggression, this game is lost without any doubt. Maybe rain can play the winning hand and save both countries from embarrassment.

Appears to be Mickey Arthur trying to throw a curve ball at Indian selectors. This will not be the team that takes the field on Sunday. My guess is that Wahab will be rested for Junaid. No other changes.

Being an Indian and a die hard fan of India I personally feel disappointement that we Indian really missed Afridi in Pakistan team. Please include him, please..... We want to defeat Pakistan which is formidable to team India. Anyway best of luck to Pakistan. We are not at war but in cricket ground. So nothing we loose other than one, 1 match. That's it. At the end of the game, it is the cricket(our other religion) has to win. But I still support my team India even if we loose the game against this Pakistani team. Mickey seems to be working for the enemy. Inclusion of Hafeez and Wahab Riaz is a disaster. Dropping Immad Waseem and Junaid will weaken the team.

Seems Pak is loading up side with tail end hitters. Though they are not consistent Aamir, Ashraf, Hasan, Shadab and Wahab could all give you quick fire 15-20 runs or more on their day. Maybe Junaid will make it if conditions are favorable. You dont want three left arm bolwers so I coukd understand Junaid not being included in squad. Besides, there wasnt there some fine on Junaid for mess he got into with Akmal?

When are we going to stop playing Riaz? No line and length, no strategy, notorious for no balls, just sheer pace alone shouldn't be selection criteria. He simply serves the purpose of releasing pressure on the other end. Only gives opposition batsmen an opportunity to get in. Poor choice continuing to stick with a bowler that should have been dropped long ago. One good performance eons ago in a losing cause (fiery spell in WC) is not good enough!

We all know shehzad is playing for his place in team and combine him with azhar will make it worst Hafeez cannot manage any decent swing or seam. Playing him in middle order is injustice to promising haris suhail Junaid showed in australia that in slightly favorable conditions, he is an ideal opening partner for amir I do not get the stupid tactics by coach. Everyone knows wahab is not a good new ball bowler. Hasan ali is good at coming as first change bowler. So how they are going to take wickets in opening overs. Opening bowling with imad or hafeez would be the worst tactics in england Micky and misbah destroyed suhail khan. He was the most effective opening bowler in opening spells who without giving freebies provide you with wickets. Now they are trying to destroy junaid

I think Pak badly needs Mohammed Asif n sharjeel khan at this time..both r a class. With Fahim ashraf down d order sharjeel wud HV been a awesome at top. Nobdy is supporting amir in bowling Asif wud made a great difference with Amir. Pak must bring them back at the earliest.

Ridicilous decision. Junaid Khan is a strike bowler. He takes wickets consistently. It doesn't matter about runs. He will gaurentee at least two wickets per game. Wahab has a hand behind him. Such an unfortunate decision

In the first place Wahab Nawaz should not be in the first team. His record so far is poor - gives away too many runs and he is no ball king.. Old horse Gul in my opinion is good enough for a couple years. Check out if he is fit enough and if that is the case call him.

Fakhar Zaman is ave. 42.01 in First Class which is more than any player in the Team.

i really do not see logic in announcing the 12 so early ... should have been kept secrete, junaid said so much on kohli and suddenly india is given a day to forget him and focus on wahab ... fahim might play or shadab might play, knowing safi from karachi shadab will play, knowing safi azhar will play, so that means fahim misses out so you have announced ur 11 1 day ahead of the game ... not sure what's going on, if its focus issue or if its something else ... lets see if the known 11 of Pakistan can produce result for all Pakistanis

Batting first, India would give around 350 as target, achievable only if Pakistan bat aggressively. Unfortunately, Pakistan tuk-tuk brigade, especially if they do not get out early, are incapable to get this target. Tuk-tuk players like Azhar, Shahzad, Babar, Hafeez and Shoaib together, at best could make 250 runs in 50 overs if they do not get out. It is unfortunate that Pakistani selectors ignored good players for team. Anyhow, in playing team, batsmen who could make runs fast and have good average is only Sarfraz. Imad has good SR but reasonable average. Babar can make fast runs but take times to settle. Player who can bat fast and also has good average is Fakhar Zaman, but Pakistani management is not playing him. Worse would happen when Azhar, Shahzad, Babar, Hafeez and Shoaib would come early in batting order, and would eat balls, making target impossible to achieve. Miracles can happen, but seems Pakistan would lose, and people responsible would be selection and management.

Bad selection!!! Harris Sohail Junaid Khan and Faqhar Zanman should have been in!!!! Wahab, Hafeez and Shadab could have been dropped from this game.
