RAHIM YAR KHAN: The district administration on Sunday recovered 1,084 illegal wheat bags and 460 empty gunny bags from a CNG station at Fatehpur Kamal.

According to a press release, on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Socrat Aman Rana, Khanpur Assistant Commissioner Ahmed Raza raided the Quality CNG Station on the National Highway and arrested some middlemen involved in illegal filling of gunny bags with wheat.

According to the AC, the middlemen got official gunny bags through forgery and were filling these bags with wheat illegally.

The AC recovered 300 bags filled with wheat and 60 empty ones from the CNG station, while seized another 784 wheat filled bags and 400 empty ones loaded on a trailer. He got registered a case against the CNG station owners and the trailer driver.
