WASHINGTON, Aug 3: Police have arrested two teenagers for allegedly burning a cross outside a Maryland mosque, authorities said on Sunday.
Police identified the two teenagers as 17-year-olds, but did not disclose their names because they were juveniles. Both have been charged with religious and ethnic crime, defacing property and burning a cross or other religious symbol in violation of Maryland’s hate crime statutes.
