KARACHI: A month long 36th Athletic Fitness School summer camp for boys and girls will commence at the Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium from July 1, says an announcement.

The annual camp, which is free of cost, is a regular feature since the launch of the institution in 1977. So far, it has groomed thousands of athletes including champions, in the track and field.

This year the camp that concludes on July 31 has been deferred due to the holy month of Ramazan.

Former reputed athlete, coach and founder of the school, Mohammad Talib, will impart training to the participants from 5 to 7pm daily except Sunday. He will be assisted by a panel of coaches.

Athletes who are willing to join the camp have been asked to register themselves from 5 to 6.30pm daily except Sunday. They can also register at athleticfitnessschool@gamil.com. Last date for registration is June 28.
