I came to Rawalpindi 14 years ago from Sargodha and got my first job as a helper at a panaflex printer’s shop. Here, I learned about scanning, designing, printing and hanging panaflexes on outdoor poles.

After a while, I started to hang the banners myself and am now in-charge of a four to six member team. We charge Rs30 per banner and can hang up to 400 banners in a day. Our business really booms during elections and when there is confrontation between political rivals.

We get an especially handsome earning upon the completion of any government project, since they want their projection.

Until a few days ago, when there was a lot of tension about the Panamagate judgement, our work was in full swing.

I think the decision is good in the current circumstances and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s government should be allowed to flourish.

He has revived our economy and and business opportunities are growing with time. The case seems to be nothing more than political tactics to slow him down.
