PESHAWAR: The customs officials at Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar, arrested a Saudi-bound passenger and recovered two kilogrammes of ice drug from his possession on Thursday.

According to customs officials, the passenger, identified as Jalal Gul of Hangu, was on way to Saudi Arabia via Dubai. They said that Gul was offloaded from the flight EK-637 after recovery of the drugs from his luggage.

It was stated that two kilogrammes of ice drug was worth Rs20 million in international market. The ice drug was allegedly concealed in his bag which was detected during general checking.

The alleged drug smuggler was taken into custody and a case registered against him by the customs officials.
