MIRPURKHAS: Famous writer, social worker and poet Ameer Bux Shar died at a private hospital in Karachi on Wednesday morning after suffering a heart attack some days back.

His body was brought to his village near 10 mile stop on Sindhri Mirpurkhas Road where a number of people including his relatives, journalists, writers, poets and social workers attended his funeral. He was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard. Before his demise, he was working in a Sindhi language private TV channel after getting retired from a bank.
