LAHORE: The three-day annual urs celebrations of Hazrat Shah Hussain, popularly known as Madhu Lal Hussain, will start in Baghbanpura on Saturday.

The urs is known as Mela Chiraghan, or the festival of lights.

Religious Affairs Director General Dr Tahir Raza Bokhari will inaugurate the ceremony by laying a traditional ‘chaddar’ on the grave of the saint.

The urs will feature qawali and naat recitals amid foolproof security arrangements.
