PESHAWAR, July 25: The Awami National Party (ANP) has criticized the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal’s government for failing to keep promises its candidates made during their election campaign.

This was stated by the party’s central vice-president Haji Mohammad Adeel in a statement here on Thursday.

The MMA-led government had completely failed to deliver in its eight months rule in the province, said an ANP leader.

The MMA’s ministers and leaders, he said, were enjoying foreign tours and had no worries about the growing law and order problems, unemployment and price hike in the NWFP.

According to him, the MMA members had led processions against the US and European allies for attacking Iraq, but now they were touring these regions to follow their leaders’ instructions.
