CDA: water supply

Published February 28, 2017

THE CDA water supply complaint office in I-9/2 is providing water tanker service to 15 to 20 households daily. Others are being ignored.

The residents have to obtain new a diary number the next day. There is no telephone at the complaint office and one has to visit the office early morning to get the diary number. I visited the complaint office Dec 28 last year. The staff registered my complaint and allotted me number 34. Next day on my inquiry the staff told me that only 17 complaints had been attended to.

I have observed that CDA officers residing in my neighbourhood are supplied water promptly without any waiting period. It seems that water tanker service is only for CDA staff and not for citizens.
