SAHIWAL, Jan 2: Two people were killed and five others sustained injuries in two road mishaps here on Wednesday.
A tractor-trolley (OK-4210) hit a motorcycle-rickshaw carrying school children on the Sahiwal-Arifwala Road. Shoaib, a class three student, died on the spot while three others received serious injuries.
A speeding motorcycle (SLA-3211) rammed into a roadside tree after skidding off the road on the Harappa-Naeewala Bangla Road. Iqbal Ahmed died instantly while Master Ilyas and Abid sustained wounds.
Police have registered cases.
