Haroon in Verna

Published February 12, 2017

Folks, now we know who’s playing the important role (opposite the pretty-as-a-picture Mahira Khan) in Shoaib Mansoor’s upcoming film Verna. It’s none other than pop singer Haroon Shahid. It is his first major acting assignment and given that Shoaib M has an eye for talent, he is likely to make his presence felt in the movie. Mind you, the cast also includes the uber-talented Nadia Jamil. So even if he doesn’t do well (I’m sure he will) some of the rest of the cast’s brilliance will definitely rub off on him.
