TOBA TEK SINGH, Dec 26: Three people were killed and 22 others sustained serious injuries in different road accidents in the district during the last 24 hours.
A trailer hit a motorcycle on Toba-Chichawatni Road as a result of which Saeeda Bibi and her son Ali Abbas died while her relative Hasan Raza suffered serious injuries.
On Pirmahal-Rajana Road, a bus crashed into a coaster near Chak 288-GB. Coaster driver Abdul Hameed of Chak 295-GB, Barianwala, died while 12 passengers were injuried. Nine people suffered injuries when a speeding truck collided with a wagon on Chichawatni-Kamalia Road.
