Samiullah on goal spree

LAHORE, Dec 24: Five goals by Samiullah, including a hat trick helped Musa Industries trounce Diamond Paints 7-4 1/2 as three more matches were decided in Mobilink Polo Cup at LPC Grounds on Wednesday.

Besides Samiuallah the other scorers for the winners was Ahmed Nawaz Tiwana (2). For the losers Taimur Malik (3) and Arsalan Najeeb were on target

A four-goal burst by Green Earth helped them to snatch an 8-6 1/2 win over Rangers.

Playing with a half handicap goal, Rangers led 6 1/2-4 at the end of third chukker, but Green Earth struck four times in the fourth to turn the table. Shah Shamyl Alam (4), Aurangzeb Monnoo (2), Ali Malik and Hissam Ali Hayder slammed a goal each for the winners.

For Rangers Mujahid Omar scored five goals including a hat trick with Kamran Zaidi netting the other goal.

Four goals by Taimur Mawaz Khan steered Chimera to 10-4 win over Data Hybrid Corn. Saqib Khakwani, Balal Hayee and Ahmad Zubair added two goals each.

For the losing side, who were playing with two handicap goals, Umar Sadik scored both the goals.
