SUKKUR: Railway police, after a span of 10 years, finally managed to get vacated the residential quarter located at Station Road, Sukkur, which was under the occupation of deputy superintendent Sindh Police Aijaz Tareen.

On Tuesday, police contingents, accompanied by divisional superintendent, Pakistan Railways Sukkur division Aijaz Buriro, superintendent of railway police Sukkur Atiq Malik, additional deputy commissioner Sukkur Rana Adeel and other staff of the railways department reached the residential quarter and evicted DSP Tareen by throwing out his personal belongings and sealing the residence.

In this connection, Aijaz Buriro said that since 2007, the residential quarter of Pakistan Railways was under the occupation of DSP Tareen. He added that in 2007, the IG Police Sindh was approached through a letter for the vacation of the quarter, but this was only now implemented.
