FAISALABAD: Four wedding guests were found dead under mysterious circumstances here on Monday at Chak 464-GB.

Three of them are relatives of bridegroom Asif Dogar, a police constable posted at Dijkot police station.

Reports said 15-year-old Usman, a movie maker of Chak 217-GB, Ahmed, 13, Waseem, 15, (both cousins of Asif) and Zubair, 15, a nephew of the bridegroom, slept in a room on Sunday night and were found dead in the morning.

Police shifted the bodies to the Samundri THQ Hospital.

City Police Officer Afzaal Ahmed Kausar told Dawn that the cause of the death was yet to be ascertained, adding autopsy would help police determine the facts.

On the other hand, families did not allow police autopsy or any kind of legal proceeding. However, police kept convincing the families for the postmortem to resolve the mystery.

Families said the deceased were non-smokers and ruled out liquor consumption.

Only fried chicken pieces were present in the room when the families found the boys dead.
