NBP too good for ZTBL

KARACHI, Dec 21: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), aided by half-centuries from Kamran Akmal and Naumanullah, thrashed Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) by six wickets in a Pool ‘B’ match of the Patron’s Cup at Peshawar’s Arbab Niaz Stadium on Sunday.

Kamran smashed a 89-ball 72 and Nauman 71 off 90 balls as NBP comfortably overhauled ZTBL’s formidable total of 278 with three overs to spare.

For ZTBL, Shahid Yousuf blasted five sixes and as many fours in an unbeaten 84 off 74 deliveries. Off-spinner Naeem Tayyab captured four for 62.
