They said that the NAB team had arrived to initiate probe into the purchase of various vehicles and items for the KIU and the recruitment of the staff.

The sources said that the NAB team had seized the financial record of the KIU and was scrutinizing various documents pertaining to appointments and purchase.

The sources said that KIU officials were also being interrogated.

However, a KIU source said that they had been cooperating with the investigation team and denied any charges of irregularities and financial embezzlement.
