February would see Oman, Thailand, Maldives and the UAE hosting these courses.

Grade I umpires workshops in Oman, Qatar and Kuwait are also planned for January with Pakistan’s Test umpire Mahboob Shah acting as the resource person.

Such workshops, all of two-day duration, would also be held in February with the venues being Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Bhutan, Maldives and Nepal.

The workshops are aimed at upgrading the skills of umpires in various countries.

Meanwhile three Level II coaching courses of four-day duration are to be organised in Kuwait, Nepal and Malaysia in March.
