HYDERABAD: Cane growers advised

HYDERABAD, Dec 18: If any grower has not received Rs43 per 40kg for sugarcane supplied to Al-Abbas, Army Welfare, Laar, Shah Murad and Deewan sugar mills for crushing season 2002-2003, he should complain to the Sindh cane commissioner.

This was announced by the cane commissioner here on Thursday.

In a press release, the cane commissioner said that a certificate was to be issued to the mills that they had paid sugarcane price at the rate of Rs43 per 40 kg.—Bureau
