Jam Madad Ali confirmed the meeting to Dawn, which was held at the residence of PPP leader Sohail Anwar Siyal. He said all matters had been settled in the meeting and his formal announcement to join the PPP was expected to be made next week in Dubai.

He said the PPP leaders contacted him and he was also willing to join the party.
