Italian example

Published December 7, 2016

FOR the people of a great nation, their country comes first. The recent referendum in Italy on the proposed constitutional changes proves this point. Since they were controversial, the government chose to go to the people, who rejected Prime Minister Matteo Renzi’s plans, with 60pc people saying no.

Regretfully, in our country personalities seem more important than issues. I think our leaders ought to learn the art of leadership from Italian leaders.
