Misbah and Sufyan hit centuries

RAWALPINDI, Dec 17: The Patron’s Trophy Pool ‘B’ match at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium finally got under way on Wednesday, the third day of four, with Sufyan Munir and Misbah-ul-Haq of Sui Gas striking fine unbeaten centuries against National Bank.

Sufyan’s 109-run innings featuring 12 boundaries and Misbah who stroked 111 with ten fours and three sixes helped Sui Gas to 231 for two in 68 overs.

Paceman Aleem Musa was the only bowler to achieve some success, taking two for 41.

The first two days of the match were washed out because of rain.
