Fine double by Akram

RAWALPINDI, Dec 16: Rawal King, with A. Alam on board won the fourth event comfortably by six lengths in the Rawalpindi Gymkhana Races at the Ladian Nau Race Course.

Trainer M. Akram earned a profitable double through Prince of Rawal in the second race and Rawal King in the fourth. The next races will be held on Dec 22.

Results:

First race: Sona 9-0 (Shahbaz Ali), Marshal 9-0 (Nadeem), Guarantee 9-0 (Yasin). Won by 4-L, 2 1/2L (time one minute 2 sec, winner trained by Ziaur Rehamn).

Second race: Prince of Rawal 9-0 (A.Alam), Sweety 9-0 (Iqbal), Black Tiger 9-0 (Ilyas). Won by 2L, 8L (time 58 1/5 sec, winner trained by Akram).

Third race: Nikama 8-0 (A.Alam), Chandni 9-0 (Ilyas), No Doubt 9-0. Won by 3L, 2L (time 0.58 1/5 sec, winner trained by Anwar).

Fourth race: Rawal King 9-10 (A. Alam), King Badshah 8-10 (Yasin), Rah-e-Amn 8-10 (Nadeem), Lakht-e-Jigar 7-12 (Ishfaq). Won by 6L, 7L (time 0.55 1/5 sec, winner trained by M. Akram).
