KARACHI, Dec 15: The University of Karachi will release the merit list of candidates, who have applied for admissions to BA/BSc (Honours), B Pharmacy and BS Agriculture, on Dec 18.

A senior official of the KU admission committee said on Monday that due to extension in dates for submission of admission forms from Nov 24 to Dec 5, the work load had certainly increased, but efforts were being made to get the merit lists prepared and released latest by Dec 18.

The varsity had extended the date for submission of admission forms pertaining to Honours and B Pharmacy programmes, to enable the students, who were lately declared pass by the educational board with the award of grace marks, apply at KU for admissions.

It is learnt that over 10,500 students, including about 1,100 those having passed HSC examination on the basis of grace marks, have applied for admissions to Honours and B Pharmacy classes.
