Concern over fencing conveyed

ISLAMABAD, Dec 13: Pakistan on Saturday informed India it was “seriously” concerned about New Delhi’s fencing along the Line of Control, officials said.

“The serious concerns were conveyed in a demarche made to the Indian high commission today,” foreign ministry spokesman Masud Khan said.

Pakistan’s move came after the Indian army said it was fencing a 460km stretch of the LoC to prevent alleged infiltrations from Pakistan.—AFP
