LAHORE: At least 30 shops were sealed for selling cigarettes to the underage children by teams of the City District Government here on Saturday.

According to a spokesman, the teams comprising officials of town municipal administrations (TMAs) also got arrested 14 shopkeepers.

He said the teams in Shalimar Town sealed eight shops, three in Wagah, five in Gulberg, two in Data Ganj Bakhsh, six in Nishtar, 10 in Ravi and four in Allama Iqbal towns.

The teams also issued warning to 64 people for smoking at public places under the law, the spokesman said.
