LAHORE: Pakistan International Series Badminton Tournament starts at Liaquat Gymnasium Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad on Oct 18.

Fifteen foreign male and female players from Malaysia, New Zealand, Canada, Syria, Iraq, Nepal and the host country will participate in the tournament.

Pakistan’s male and female players will compete in the men’s, women singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. Badminton Asia has nominated Ali Abdullah Kareem of the Maldives as the tournament referee.

The Pakistan Badminton Federation has completed all the arrangements for holding the event. Mian Riaz Hussain Perzada, Federal Minister of Inter-provincial Coordination, will inaugurate the tournament.
