24 vs 76 per cent

Published September 26, 2016

THIS is apropos the news report ‘24pc of French Muslims oppose secular laws: study’ (Sept 19). I was surprised by the headline you gave. Perhaps the headline showed the slant in the news report, because the opinion of 24 per cent sidelined the opinion of 76pc people. The results can also be interpreted this way — that 76 pc of French Muslims accept their country’s secular law.
