JACOBABAD: Explosion in Jafarabad

Published December 8, 2003

JACOBABAD, Dec 7: A bomb exploded on a road in Mohabbat Shakh village, Jafarabad district, Balochistan, on Saturday night.

The blast created a big crater and destroyed a major portion of the road. However, no loss of life was reported.

The bomb weighed three pounds and was wrapped in a plastic bag.

Harassment prevailed in the area after the explosion.

A bomb disposal squad arrived on the spot and found that the bomb was of the same structure that went off in Sohbatpur on Friday and in Jacobabad a couple of days back.
