KARACHI, Dec 7: A division bench of the Sindh High Court dismissed an appeal filed by the Iram Ghee Mills against the imposition of fine and confiscation of palm-oil.

The appeal was filed under section 196 of the Customs Act of 1969 wherein imposition of fine of Rs 25 million by the Collector Customs under Section 32 of Customs Act was questioned. The Collector had also ordered the confiscation of 2000 metric tonnes of oil.—APP
