Defence Day is celebrated to commemorate the sacrifices of fallen heroes during the 1965 war. It is observed on September 6 in memory of the sacrifices rendered by the Pakistani armed forces.

Pakistan and its armed forces will celebrate the 50th Defense Day this year.
