PESHAWAR, Dec 5: A former collector of customs, Rana Mazhar Ali Khan, was arrested in Peshawar along with a clerk on the charges of causing huge losses to the national exchequer. They were remanded to NAB on Thursday.

Rana Mazhar and Muhammad Zubair were produced before an accountability court which remanded the two accused to NAB for 14 days.

NAB alleged that Rana Mazhar and clerk Zubair had caused a loss of Rs30 million to the national kitty by favouring a Lahore based industrialist in the customs duty on the raw material.
