KARACHI: Younus Khan’s plea granted

KARACHI, Dec 4: The additional district and sessions judge Malir, Abdul Kabir, on Thursday granted application of MPA Younus Khan of Mohajir Qaumi Movement (Haqiqi) seeking permission to attend the Sindh Assembly session commencing on Dec 5.

The court directed the jail authorities to produce the applicant in the forthcoming assembly sessions.

Applicant’s counsel Shamsher Khan filed a miscellaneous application in which the court was prayed to permit the MPA to attend the assembly session.

Younus Khan was arrested by the police, and is charged with the killing a taxi driver Mohammed Kafeel in Korangi Industrial area in 1995.—PPI
