PESHAWAR: Trials to select Peshawar under-17 district girls squad will be held at the Frontier College for Women ground here on Aug 29 at 9.00am.

This was stated by PCB Women Wing Coordinator Raham Bibi while talking to media persons here on Thursday.

She said that a selection committee in her supervision with two other members comprising international cricketer Salma Faiz and PCB coach Sultanat will conduct the trials.

In the first phase, 22 players will be shortlisted for the camp.

The camp will also be organized on the same venue, Raham Bibi added.

She said the final selection would be made after completion of a month-long camp.

The selected team will represent Peshawar in the forthcoming Under-17 National Girls Cricket Championship to be organised under the aegis of PCB in Lahore in the last week of September this year.
