KARACHI, Dec 3: Three-day All-Karachi Inter-club boxing tournament will be held at Ustad Baboo Rahim Boxing Stadium at Gabol Park from Dec 12 under the auspices of Karachi South Boxing Association.

According to a press release issued on Wednesday the organizers will hold cadet, junior and senior class competitions during the event.

Cadets’contests in 46, 48, 50, 52, 54, 57, 60 kilogramme category; juniors’ in 48, 51, 54, 57, 60, 64 kilogramme and seniors’ in 48, 51, 54, 57, 60, 64, 69, 75, 81 and 91 kilogramme weight division will be held, said the release.

It said the weighing and medical check-up of pugilists would be carried out on Thursday at Azad Baloch Club from 4.00 to 6.00 pm.

The release said the best performing players would be picked from the tournament for Sindh teams to play All-Pakistan boxing tournament in Mirpurkhas and Inter-provincial Games in Lahore.—APP
