11th Frontier snooker

PESHAWAR, Dec 2: The 11th edition of Frontier Amateur Open ranking snooker championship, carrying a cash prize of Rs 50,000, will start on Dec 8.

Leading players of NWFP will vie for the top slot in the six days event for which all arrangements have been completed.

All the leading players have confirmed their participation in the annual ranking tournament from which top six player will be eligible to participate in the National Snooker Championship.

Rambal Gul will defend his title. Last year he defeated Arshad Siddique in the grand final.

Seventy leading players will be divided into four groups and top two players will be moved to semifinals.—APP
