SARGODHA, Dec 2: The district and sessions judge on Tuesday ordered registration of case against an assistant sub-inspector of Cantonment police station for keeping

three brothers in illegal custody.

Ulfat Bibi had submitted in a habeas corpus petition that ASI Ramazan arrested her sons Arsalan, Asif and Zeeshan Chak 47 NB without any justification.

A bailiff recovered the three detained brothers from the illegal custody of the ASI and produced them before the district and sessions judge who ordered their release.

Cantonment police registered a case against the ASI but did not arrest him till late on Tuesday night.
