Noraiz leaves for Ukraine

ISLAMABAD, Dec 1: Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Chaudhry Noraiz Shakoor left here on Monday for Ukraine on a three-day official visit to discuss cooperation in the oil and gas sector.

During the visit, the minister will meet his Ukrainian counterpart and discuss the cooperation and assistance offered by Ukraine in various fields of petroleum sector.

They will also examine prospects of upgrading oil fields with modern technology, joint ventures for participation in upstream petroleum sector under different concession agreements in Balochistan basin, offshore Indus basin and Punjab platform with local oil companies.—APP
