RAWALPINDI, Dec 1: A boy was killed in a road accident while a man was murdered on Monday, police said.

Mohammad Jamil lodged a complaint with the police, saying that he was heading home on his motorcycle along with his wife and son, Omer Jamil. When he reached near Dhoke Hafiz, a speeding pick-up van (RPT-4335) hit his bike as a result of which all three were injured. They were shifted to a hospital where the boy died, the police said.

In another incident, a man was murdered in the I-9 police area on Monday.

Two persons, Sherzada and Naseeb Khan, came to the house of Shuja Hussain and repeatedly attacked him with knives, killing him on the spot. The motive behind the murder was a family dispute, the police said.—Staff Reporter
