SHIKARPUR: Zakat distributed

SHIKARPUR, Nov 30: Sindh minister for Auqaf, religious and minorities affairs Irfan Gul Magsi distributed Rs1.3 million Zakat cheques among 80 people under the Permanent Rehabilitation Scheme in Wazirabad on Saturday.

The minister also held a meeting with the chairman and officers of the District Zakat and Ushr Committee and directed them to refrain from malpractice and ensure proper distribution of the funds among deserving people.

During the meeting, District Zakat Officer Nisar Ahmed Khakhrani briefed Mr Magsi about the activities of the committee.
