GWADAR: A man and an eight-year-old boy were severely injured when their vehicle hit an improvised explosive device (IED) in the Balnegore area of Kech district on Friday.

According to Levies officials, the IED hidden along the main road of Balnegore town went off when a pickup truck passing the area hit it.

BODY FOUND: The bullet-riddled body of a young man was found in a date palm farm in the Sangani area of Turbat on Thursday night. The victim was identified as Abdul Rehman of Botabad area. Local people informed Levies officials about the dumped body which was taken to the district hospital. “Before execution, he man was severely tortured with a knife,” an official told Dawn.
