KOTLI, Nov 29: AJK Prime Minister Sardar Sikander Hayat Khan has urged that India should withdraw its troops from held Kashmir for durable peace and stability in the region.

Addressing a gathering here at Kotli on Saturday he said that freedom was a universal truth and India should leave its stubborn attitude for the betterment of the people of South Asia.

AJK premier made it clear that war clouds would hover on the region unless and until Kashmir issue was not resolved.

He categorically rejected Indian’s stance regarding Kashmir issue and said that Kashmir was not an integral part of India, and added that Kashmir was a disputed territory.

He welcomed soil, air, trade, cultural, social political links and truce with India but emphasized the need to resolve Kashmir issue which was the basic cause of conflict between two countries.—PPI
