PESHAWAR, Nov 25: An eight-member Afghan delegation on Tuesday called on the NWFP Senior Minister Sirajul Haq and delivered a message of goodwill to him on behalf of the former President of Afghanistan Prof Burhanuddin Rabbani

The delegation led by Kamil Agha held discussion on matters of mutual interest with the Senior Minister. He thanked the NWFP Government for giving shelter to displaced Afghans despite limited resources and high poverty ratio.

He said the people of Afghanistan could not forget the love and affection extended to Afghan refugees by the people of Pakistan in their hours of trial and tribulations, and hoped that this bond of amity would continue to exist in the days to come.—APP
