Former Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne feels Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir is a fine bowler and he will be at his best for the English series which kicks off on July 14.

“Amir will get a good reception in England,” spin maestro Warne said.

Amir is likely to resume his Test career at the prestigious Lord's Cricket Ground, the same venue where he played his last Test six years ago.

The left-arm fast-bowler made a comeback in competitive cricket last year in a Grade II Patron's Trophy contest on March 13, 2015.

Later that year, the 24-year-old's ban expired in September and he was declared completely free to play all forms of cricket.

Amir made his return to international cricket on January 15 this year, in a Twenty20 International against New Zealand.

Talking about the forthcoming Pakistan's tour of England, Amir said Pakistan and England both are great bowling sides.

“Their top order batting will be tested by opposition bowlers,” he said while speaking to a private news channel.

He said the weather has been bad in England so the ball will nip around and seam so it will be tough for the batsmen.
